Soft-start timer and controller for ZinAmp valve amplifiers. Controls start up and auto-power off routines, protecting speakers from switch-on 'thump' and switch-off 'snap'. Soft-start feature minimises the effect of transformer 'inrush' during switch-on
Ready-built PCB requires connectors to be purchased separately and soldered on. See datasheet for details

High gain amplifier that listens for line-level and phono siganls, then amplifies and rectifies these into a DC supply to the timer. This DC supply charges a capacitor to keep the amplifier 'on' whilst music is playing. When music stops, the capicitor slowly discharges and the amplifier switches off after approx 45 mins
Ready-built PCB requires connectors to be purchased separately and soldered on. See datasheet for details

Protects loudspeakers from start-up thump and from any errant DC offset from the power amp. DC voltage detected in either the left or right channel immediately triggers the audio to be cut in both speakers
Powered by the DC supply from your power amp rails, i.e. requires no additional power supply. Works with a range of voltages from -/+35v to -/+56v Ready-built PCB requires connectors to be purchased separately and soldered on. See datasheet for details

Headphone socket with speaker mute relay. Speakers are muted when headphones are inserted. Uses a network of high-power audio resistors to attenuate the power amplifier output to a voltage suitable for most headphones
Ready-built PCB requires connectors to be purchased separately and soldered on. See datasheet for details

Heavy duty PCB with terminals for AC transformers and connections to power supplies. Terminals are provided for an AC fuse, On/Off switch and auto-power-off switch. Additional terminals for an AC relay and two thermistors form a "soft-start" feature that protects the on/off switch and other circuitry by limiting inrush current. Can be wired for 220v or 120v DC - see datasheet. Switch nets are snubbed to prevent switch-terminal arcing/pitting
Board layout conforms with CE Low Voltage Directive in that primary and secondary AC tracks are appropriately spaced. Pre-built PCB includes screw terminal blocks as standard. Please email us if you would like different connectors

Heavy duty PCB that separates AC and chassis earth from DC and audio grounds via the diodes of a heavy-duty bridge rectifier.
Current rating: 35A AC and DC Grounds are separated to eliminate ground loops that may be experienced when connecting other equipment to your amplifier. AC earth and the metal chassis make a direct connection on the Earth Hub to maintain safetyPre-built PCB includes screw terminal blocks as standard.
